About this event

For 72 years, the New Orleans Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc. has dedicated itself to enhancing the well-being of children and families in the broader New Orleans community. We are a group of mothers focused on fostering future leaders by enriching the lives of children aged 2 to 19 through chapter activities, community engagement, advocacy, and charitable endeavors. Since 1938, Jack and Jill Incorporated has been committed to enhancing the well-being of African American children and our communities, believing that every child, when provided with guidance and opportunities, has the potential to become a leader.

This year, we extend an invitation to collaborate with us in upholding these initiatives by endorsing the significant endeavors of the chapter. Join us as a sponsor as we bring back our “Enchanted Garden Experience” where we will continue to celebrate our community leaders while raising funds to support our local 501(c)(3) partners. This not-to-be-missed event is scheduled for Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Arbor Room at Popp Fountain in City Park featuring a celebration of our cultural heritage, cuisine, and music.

Every year the members and teens of our chapter raise funds in honor of one of our most impactful members, Ann Coxen Mitchell, to benefit deserving students who attend our local HBCU institutions, Xavier University, Southern University at New Orleans, and Dillard University.  In addition, the funds raised at our fundraising event will also support the following local community service programs whose efforts align with our mission:

North Rampart Community Center, whose mission is to provide afterschool programming that encourages youth to perform at their best academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. To this end, a safe and stimulating space is provided for students to complete homework assignments, receive assistance, and tutoring as needed.

Covenant House serves young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness or human trafficking with absolute respect and unconditional love. Their goal is to help each young person move on with their lives in positive ways with counseling, education, stable employment, and secure housing.

Hotel Hope is a nonprofit, interfaith organization that provides housing to women and children in a safe and loving atmosphere while guiding them to self-sufficiency and self-empowerment through intensive case management.

We ask for your support to join our efforts to provide all children with the skills and advantages allowing them to chart a course for success. THE HARVESTER SPONSORSHIP $1000

THE GARDENER SPONSORSHIP $500

4 premium event tickets, illuminated on all event signage—digital and print, website and promotional advertising on social media

THE PLANTER SPONSORSHIP $250

SILENT AUCTION/RAFFLE DONATIONS

We are also collecting donations for spa services, children and family activities, hotel stays, and other gifts in support of our silent auction/raffle. Your donation includes recognition on all event signage-digital and print, website and promotional advertising on social media
