About this event
Quark presents the premiere of Not Alone Unhappy, a trio of interwoven short plays by our own Adam Remsen! It's a darkly funny triptych about mortality, meaning, and connection in a world that won’t stop talking. From a bewildering business presentation that spirals into metaphysical chaos, to a surreal holiday gathering with the world’s oldest woman and her irreverent wisdom, to a heart transplant that pauses for a lyrical moment between life and death, the play finds warmth and wonder in the absurd. Haunting and hopeful, it asks what we owe to each other — and what remains when the music stops.
