About this event

The Palestine PD Day Camp is a one-day camp for children to engage with various artistic mediums, connecting them with Palestinian folklore and heritage.

The Palestine Camp, invites youth to explore the richness of Palestinian culture through a vibrant blend of education, creativity, and community. More than just a summer camp, this journey immerses children in the stories, traditions, and landscapes of Palestine—instilling pride, deepening knowledge, and nurturing connection.

Through hands-on workshops, campers will explore traditional arts, engage with the history of Palestinian landmarks, and learn about the agricultural practices, history and culture that has shaped generations. Each activity is designed to inspire cultural expression and foster a sense of shared identity in the diaspora.

Goals of the Camp:

  • Heritage Preservation: Celebrate and preserve Palestinian traditions through art and storytelling.

  • Cultural Expression: Encourage campers to creatively explore and express their identities.

  • Educational Enrichment: Build a foundation of historical and geographical knowledge about Palestine.

  • Community Building: Create bonds among youth that extend beyond the camp, rooted in shared values and experiences.
