Hearth & Hollow: A Day of Primitive Witchery
About this event
"The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?" —Poe
Step into a shadowy realm where Southern elegance meets the haunting genius of Edgar Allan Poe. Join us for an enchanting Afternoon POEtry Tea at the reportedly haunted Cedars of Lebanon State Park, where the autumnal glow of a crackling fire casts an eerie spell. This immersive Victorian Gothic tea, limited to 20 guests, will celebrate Poe's macabre tales and poetry, paired with a curated menu of high-brow Southern flavors and a touch of gothic whimsy.
Guests are invited to don Victorian Mourning garb—black lace veils, jet bead jewelry, frock coats, or widow’s weeds—to embody the era’s somber elegance.
Each guest will depart with a small, gothic-inspired keepsake bag, filled with treasures to linger in the memory of this eerie afternoon.
Reserve your place at this unforgettable gathering where Poe’s words and Victorian gothic splendor intertwine. Tickets are limited, so secure yours swiftly, lest you wander the shadowed woods alone.
