Queer Hut to Hut with Maine AMC

Join us February 28-March 2 for a queer hut-to-hut snowshoe or cross country ski adventure! We’ll explore the AMC Maine Huts & Trails winter trail system and spend the night at two cozy off-the-grid eco lodges in the 100 Mile Wilderness with full amenities and delicious prepared meals. This trip is for outdoor enthusiasts of any experience level who want to explore Maine’s winter beauty in a queer-centered environment, and learn a few winter outdoor skills along the way. Depending on snow levels, travel will be using snowshoes, cross country skis, or microspikes. Experienced trip leaders will instruct participants in the basics of snowshoeing or cross country skiing, winter safety & outdoor skills, and basic trail navigation.
