U.R. Our Hope is one of the only organizations in the country assisting patients on the journey to diagnosis and continues to support them beyond. We assist families in finding answers and critical treatment plans.
Donations are used to fund our outreach and family support efforts which include:
Gas/Meal Cards - we provide gas/meal gift cards to those traveling for medical visits to see doctors specialized in their conditions or best fit their needs
Research Programs - we help to enroll individuals in some of the nation's top research programs to find a diagnosis, such as the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Program and TGEN
Crisis Support - during hospitalization or times of crisis we provide respite, meals, emergency lodging, and support for burial costs
Family Meetings - local families gather each month to connect and spend time with others to network, share resources, and simply offer support to others who share the journey
