About the Event

Former Sheriff Roger Scott served the citizens of DeKalb County for over five decades. To honor Roger’s life and continue his spirit of service, Roger’s family and friends invite you to the first annual Roger Scott Memorial Golf Outing — a day to celebrate Roger’s memory, enjoy great company, and raise funds for Love INC of DeKalb County, a local non-profit charity that supports DeKalb County families and individuals in need.

A Life of Service and Friendship

Roger was known for his friendly smile, his love of the Chicago Cubs, his enjoyment of coffee, his sense of humor, and his dedication to faith, family, and community. He believed deeply in helping others — values reflected in his long support of Love INC as a volunteer, donor, and advisor.

This event celebrates not only Roger’s public service, but also the personal connections he built over countless cups of coffee and good conversations.

Event Schedule

• 7:15 AM – Coffee, silent auction & check-in

• 8:15 AM – Welcome & announcements

• 8:30 AM – Shotgun start

• 1:30 PM – Lunch, awards, raffle & silent auction

Registration & Pricing

• Individual Golfer: $90

• Foursome: $360

Your registration includes:

• 18 holes of scramble-style golf with cart

• Prizes, raffles, & silent auction

• Morning coffee and pastries

• Camaraderie in the clubhouse

• Hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch

Sponsorship Opportunities

Help us make this event a success while showing your support for Roger’s legacy and Love INC’s mission.

1. Roger’s Patrol Deputies – $100
Honor Roger as one of his loyal hard-working “deputies” on the course.  

2. Roger’s Sergeants – $250
Step up as one of Roger’s trusted sergeants and help lead the way to a successful event. Enforcing Roger’s orders to have fun out there will be your top priority.

3. Hole Sponsor  – $500
Your name or business will be displayed prominently on a sign at your sponsored hole and recognized in promotions.  Your name or company logo will be listed in the program booklet.

4. Roger’s Lieutenants – $1,000
Earn your stripes (no arduous testing required!) and be recognized as one of Roger’s loyal lieutenants. Your name or business printed on swag bag items.  1/4 page ad space in the program booklet.  Display table space will be available at the clubhouse during coffee and lunch.

5. Supporting Sponsor – $2,500
Step up as a supporting sponsor and be recognized for your key contributions to our community! Includes one complimentary team (4 golfers), your name or business printed on signage and swag bag items. 1/2 page ad space in the program booklet. Display table space will be available at the clubhouse 
during coffee and lunch.

6. Presenting Sponsor – $5,000 (Limited to 1)
Our premier event partner. Your business will be featured in all marketing materials, event banners, and media promotions. Includes two complimentary teams (8 golfers), special recognition at the event, a full page ad in program booklet, prominent signage, logo on swag bag items, and a dedicated display table in the clubhouse.
