RUMORS by Neil Simon

The gossip is true. Palmtree & Pine — the producing duo Giselle Fischman and Jennifer Skiffington — are bringing Neil Simon’s madcap comedy Rumors to life this fall, and it’s shaping up to be the most delightfully disastrous dinner party Hollywood’s ever seen.

Performances will take place November 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th at 8:00 PM at The McCadden Place Theatre (1157 N McCadden Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90038).

Under the energetic direction of Harry White and Raphael Berglas, this production reimagines Simon’s celebrated farce for a fresh Los Angeles audience. Rumors is a fast-paced farce that starts with one gunshot, a missing hostess, and a lot of very expensive secrets. As a group of affluent New Yorkers scramble to save face (and their reputations), the lies pile up faster than the hors d’oeuvres disappear. By the end of the night, no one knows who’s telling the truth — or why they showed up in the first place.
