📣 Sahtain wa Hana: Palestinian Ka’ak Making & Community Iftar 📣

Join us on March 8th as we host our 2nd annual Palestinian Ka’ak-making workshop: a beautiful tradition we’re so excited to bring back for another year! 

Sporas is hosting a Community Iftar and Palestinian Ka’Ak Making Workshop on March 8th, bringing community members together for an evening of gathering and shared tradition. Ka’Ak making is a Palestinian practice that families across Palestine take part in before Eid, coming together to prepare, connect, and carry this tradition across generations. Doors open at 4:00 PM, and we’ll begin making ka’ak at 4:30 PM! 
Some people enjoy it plain with qahwa (Arabic coffee) or tea, while others fill it with dates (عجوة), walnuts, or sweet spices.

HRTY will be joining us as a vendor so you can pair your delicious Ka'ak with some amazing matcha! *available for purchase.

🌙 After the workshop, we’ll gather for a community iftar.
