About this event
Come spend an intimate weekend exploring Sacred Sound and Devotional practice in community! Or join us Saturday night for our Sacred Chant Concert! All at the SoHa Sanctuary in Philomath... read on for details!
Sound Sanctuary: A Fall Bhakti Retreat! This October 18-20th join Kavita and the Open Heart Sangha musicians in the woods of Philomath, Oregon. We will explore voice and devotional music, and enjoy the power and magnificence of the Pacific Northwest. Accommodations will be at the SoHA: Sanctuary of Healing Arts and the retreat is graciously supported by the SoHA foundation.
SoHA is a philanthropic private membership association for the expansion of individual and collective consciousness through participation in the healing arts and high vibrational gatherings on a 142 acre rain forest retreat center environment.
We will gather in the early evening on October 18th and share a vegetarian meal. An Opening Circle will follow, bringing us together to begin our weekend journey. See preliminary schedule below for more!
Exchange for Weekend Workshop: includes all sessions + community meal Friday & Saturday + simple breakfast Saturday & fruit and snacks during the weekend. Participants can add to Saturday breakfast and will take care of their own lunch, either in the communal kitchen or in nearby Philomath which has cafes.
We are offering various choices for regsitration to help make this weekend accessible to ALL. Inquire about work-trade opportunities. Your registration helps support SoHA’s all volunteer staff, our musicians & our cook for the weekend!
