Weaving Living Traditions: Artist Panel

As part of the opening weekend of Woven Futures, Unfixed/Unbound Patterns: Contemporary Diné Weaving, Weaving Living Traditions brings together curator Venancio Aragón and exhibiting artists Melissa Cody, Tyrrell Tapaha, Marlowe Katoney, and Calandra Cook for a conversation exploring contemporary Diné weaving as a living tradition shaped by cultural continuity, innovation, and artistic practice.

Hear directly from some of today's leading Diné artists as they reflect on their creative practices, the transmission of cultural knowledge across generations, and the evolving role of weaving within both Diné communities and contemporary art.
