About this event
Andrea and Stephen Vizard have kindly invited us to visit their 800-year old home, formerly the abbots lodging of the large Augustinian abbey founded in the twelfth century on the site.
The visit will include looking around the house and grounds, including remains of the abbey dedicated to St. James which is the last resting place of many of the Mortimers.
The visit will be rounded off with afternoon tea including sandwiches and cake.
