About this event
The Blue Water Ramblers perform in the time-honored stylings of a string band - writing and singing traditional folk music with modern themes. Their repertoire comes right out of their Michigan life experiences. We know that their hero, Woody Guthrie, would approve because they're singing the peoples' songs about the peoples' lives and they can join right in and sing along!
Enjoy their unique take on original and cover tunes - some are old, some are new, some are borrowed and some are the blues. As the founder of Farmhouse Music and Festival in Northern Michigan once wrote of the Blue Water Ramblers, "There are few music groups who take so little and give so much. The Ramblers' deep love for good music and the people who attend and participate is evident in all they do. They bring such joy and good will wherever they go."
