TOSC Social Club: June Walk @ Stetson Hills

Stetson Park to Sand Creek Trail Walk

This is a social hike that moves at a slower pace.  The focus is on enjoying the company of fellow trail lovers more than the destination or distance of the hike.  

What to Expect:
All Abilities are Welcome
Distance: Around 1.5 miles.
Trail: Concrete Regional Trail plus park sidewalks.
The Walk: The group will meet in the parking spots at Stetson Park on Jedidiah Smith Road. From there, we will walk on the path through the park onto the Sand Creek Trail.  We will walk down to the duck pond (further north if time allows) then turn around heading south, back to Stetson Hills Park.
Difficulty:  This walk will be on even surfaces in an urban setting.  Overall altitude change is around 75ft. 

What to Bring:
Sturdy shoes for trail walking, water, sunscreen and backpacks for those who like to have them on hikes. 
Dress for the weather and be prepared for mud if there have been recent storms.

Members can bring as many guests as you wish.
Please no pets.
