EAG’s Annual Meeting 2025

After 5 years online, we’re thrilled to announce a return to an in-person gathering for EAG’s Annual Meeting.  This meeting is a special day where members celebrate the good work we've done in the past year and get a preview of what's in store for the years ahead. We are looking forward to seeing you for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

RSVP by clicking the green button above and join us at Guild Hall on Monday, September 15 at 5:30pm. A virtual attendance option will also be available for those who prefer to Zoom in.

FREE for members in good standing. Not sure if you're up to date with your dues? Email Paul.

A potluck reception will follow - please bring a treat or bottle of wine to share.

Want to help raise money for the Guild and have a chance to win? Buy a 50/50 raffle ticket (or ten!) with your RSVP (green button above).

Don’t forget to vote:

It is time for the 2025 Election of Officers and Council Members of the Episcopal Actors’ Guild.

Our upcoming elections will be conducted online via ElectionBuddy. All EAG members in good standing will receive their ballot via email unless they OPT IN to have a paper ballot mailed to them. Opting in can be done by calling the EAG Office (212-685-2927) and leaving a message with your name and mailing address. Members who do not have an email address on file with us will automatically receive a paper ballot. If you are uncertain of your membership status, please contact the EAG Office.

In compliance with the Guild’s By-laws, any member in good standing who wishes to run for any office or Council seat and who is not included on this slate may present a petition for nomination. The petition will require the signatures of at least 30 members in good standing. Nominations by petition must be received by 9:00 AM ET on, August 11, 2025, by the Executive Director. Petitions may be delivered by hand to EAG c/o the Little Church Parish Office, 1 East 29 Street, New York, NY 10016 (weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM), by mail, or by email (a PDF copy of the signed petition must be attached) to karen@actorsguild.org. If the petition is in order, the nominee will appear on the ballot.

Ballots for the 2025 Elections will be emailed to members on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Participation in the Elections is strongly encouraged! Your completed ballot must be received by our office no later than 9:00 AM ET on Monday, September 15, 2025. Ballots will be counted by the Tellers Committee at Guild Hall on September 15, 2025. Candidates or their appointed deputies may be present and observe the tally. Winning candidates will be announced by the Chairperson of the Tellers Committee at the Annual Membership Meeting.

Directions: The Episcopal Actors’ Guild (EAG)/Guild Hall is located at 1 EAST 29th STREET, NYC 10016 (midblock between Madison and Fifth, between #3 and #9 East 29th Street) on the second floor of the Church of the Transfiguration (aka the Little Church Around the Corner). We are NOT the big church on the corner of Fifth Avenue; that's Marble Collegiate. When you arrive at the Little Church, enter through the main gate and go through the garden to the door marked Guild Hall (between the main doors into the church and the door to the parish office).

Getting Here: The closest subways are the R/W or 6 at 28th Street or the B/D/F/M or N/Q/R/W at 34th Street/Herald Square. If you are arriving by bus, take the M1, M2, M3, M5, M6, or M7.

Parking: Due to ongoing construction to replace a city water main, there is currently no on-street parking available on East 29th Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues. The two closest parking garages are located across the street at 10 East 29th Street and around the block at 10 East 30th Street.

Lobby: Guild Hall does NOT have a lobby or waiting area. You are welcome to enjoy the Little Church’s garden (weather permitting) if you arrive before the house opens.

Accessibility: Guild Hall is not a fully ADA-compliant venue. However, we do our best to accommodate all patrons. Guild Hall is located up one flight of stairs (20 steps). There is no elevator; however, a stair chair is available for those who need assistance making it up to or down from Guild Hall. EAG’s staff will be happy to assist you upon request.

Late seating: We cannot guarantee late seating.

EAG's Health & Safety Rules: Masks are strongly recommended but no longer required in Guild Hall. Please stay home if you are sick or if you have tested positive for covid, the flu, RSV, etc.. For more details, please visit www.actorsguild.org/covid-safety-protocols.
