About this event
Celebrate Women's History Month by looking at the history of women in the Royal Air Force. We will be joined by Jess Boyden-Juckes, RAF Stories Manager at the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford.
We will look through the history of the WRAF, founded during WW1 to assist in administrative and technical trades, through to the 1990s and Lt Jo Slater becoming the first female operational pilot.
About the Venue
For 2024, we will be based at Penn Bowling Club, 10 Manor Road, Penn, Wolverhampton, WV4 5PY. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, has good parking, toilet facilities and a bar.
