Grant Gordy & Dennis Lichtman

Grant Gordy (guitar) and Dennis Lichtman (clarinet, etc.) play a concert in a Woods Hole living room on September 11 at 7:30 PM. Ticket holders will get a "concert info" email about 24h before the show detailing the location and other important information.

Grant Gordy was recruited by David "Dawg" Grisman to fill the shoes of Tony Rice in the David Grisman quartet, quintet and sextet. He played with Dawg's band for six years. Currently Grant plays with Mister Sun, alongside the great Darol Anger and Joe K. Walsh. That should be enough bio to get all y'all to come hear him. Grant was last in Woods Hole playing guitar duets with Ross Martin in 2023. He's been here multiple times, beginning back in 2015. 

Dennis Lichtman is the leader of the long-running Tuesday night trad jazz jam at Mona's on the Lower East Side in NYC. He plays more instruments and contributes to more bands and musical partnerships than anybody I know. Over the last decade, his clarinet playing has gone from spectacular to a place where no superlatives do justice. 

Recently Grant and Dennis teamed up at Barbes, and it went so well, they want to do it again. That'll be right here in Woods Hole on September 11. I can't wait.
