Classic rock and roll of the ’50s and ’60s will be performed by the band Past Time at the Box Factory for the Arts on Saturday, September 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are available in advance for $12 general admission and $15 cabaret seating (tables in front). Tickets at the door are $15. Children 12 and under are free.
Rock-and-roll legend Billy Shelton of the doo-wop group The Spaniels will join Past Time as special guest vocalist. Shelton is an original member of The Spaniels, which has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Smithsonian Museum of American History.
Past Time, founded in 2012, is dedicated to preserving classic rock-and-roll songs for listeners throughout Southwest Michigan. Current members of the lively, five-piece band include Derek Cromwell on lead vocals, keyboard and guitar; Jan Trapani, drums; Ron Arturi, guitar and vocals; Chris Stanard, saxophone and tambourine; and Rich Schwadron, bass guitar.
