Sabre Dance | Family Concert (Abridged) | Seattle Festival Orchestra

The Seattle Festival Orchestra opens its 50th anniversary season with Sabre Dance. The program opens with music by Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, including selections from his dramatic Spartacus Suite No. 2, the iconic, energetic Sabre Dance, and the sweeping Waltz from Masquerade. Contemporary composer Eldar Hudiyev’s Circus, featuring clarinet soloist Benjamin Lulich, brings a playful and dazzling contrast to the program.

NOTE: The Family concert is abridged, and will not include Hovhaness's Mount St. Helens. Attendees should expect some audience "chatter," as children typically comprise a large portion of our audience. For tickets to the Full concert at Town Hall, please visit ticketstripe.com/sabre-dance-sun
