The Original Theatre Black Dog's vibrant, dedicated cast brings Shakespeare's Hamlet to the stage in an intimate setting at TPS's Black Box Theatre at Seattle Center.

The age-old story of young Prince Hamlet, who comes home to the kingdom of Elsinore, where his father reigned, to find the King has died and his mother has quickly married his uncle. Hamlet, suspicious from the beginning, is led on a fatal mission of revenge from a supernatural visitor.

A roller coaster ride into his tormented mind, which continuously asks all the multitude of questions that halt his action, as one tragedy after another strikes. The Original Theatre Black Dog's atmospheric, actor focused production takes the audience into the troubled world of Hamlet's dilemma and feigned madness, where one tragedy strikes after another. The questions he asks in his continued betrayal remain as always relevant to life and society today.
