UUCB Concerts for a Cause:

UU Church of Brunswick
1 Middle Street, Brunswick, Maine
Saturday, September 17, 2002 @ 7:30

Back by popular demand, Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations will once again bring down the house at the Unitarian Universalist Church on September 17th at 7:30pm with a powerful mix of Motown/Memphis Soul.

The Soul Sensations‘ danceable repertoire, outstanding female singers, a full horn section and unique showmanship make for an  unforgettable show that that will knock your socks off! The band covers Soul Classics from Sam and Dave, the Supremes, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, the Staple Singers and the Queen of Soul–Aretha Franklin.  They also provide a wealth of original R&B music to their sets.

Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations have been featured at the Brunswick Arts Festival, the Maine Blues Festival, Bath Heritage Days, the Harpswell Summer Concert Series, and the annual Christmas show at the Chocolate Church.  They have also played at Cadenza in Freeport, Governor Janet Mills inaugural ball, and many, many more venues.

When Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations hit the stage, it’s an instant Soul Train dance party and a History of Soul Music all wrapped up in a single package of FUN!

Two-thirds of the net proceeds of the 2022-23 Concerts for a Cause series will be donated to two local “Charities with Soul” to be selected in June by the congregation and Concert Committee.
