About this event
You'll walk through the past and sip in the present during this unique experience that combines community stories, behind-the-scenes brewery access, and a beer tasting!
We start our adventure on the streets of downtown Corvallis, where you’ll hear surprising (and wild) stories of how floods, gold miners, and prohibition shaped Oregon’s early beer scene. You'll meet laborers who fueled global hops demand and the rebels who fought to bring back the brewpub.
Then, we’ll head into Oregon Trail Brewery, the oldest modern brewery in downtown Corvallis, for a guided tour of their rare historic brewing equipment and process. Travel up the stairs to see this gravity-fed system that helped revive craft brewing in the region.
We’ll wrap things up with a fresh pour of Oregon Trail beer, shared among new friends and fellow story lovers.
Come experience history on tap - starting from the temperature-controlled lobby of the Courtyard Marriott, with shelter from the sky (if needed!) along the route. Bring your curiosity, and if you want to taste, your ID!
