Payment processing merchant fees are determined by the Merchant Bank (Stripe or PayPal) and are separate from Ticketstripe service fees.
Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ cents per transaction for online transactions. These fees are passed on to the ticket buyer by default so you receive your full ticket value or donation. However, event organizers can choose to absorb those fees. Additional charges may apply for international payment methods and currency conversions.
Stripe charges 2.7% + 5¢ for in-person payments processed via Ticketstripe’s app and Stripe Reader.
Stripe supports 2 different Klarna payment options:
- Pay in 4 installments 5.99% + 30¢
- Financing* 2.99% + 30¢

Both Stripe and PayPal offer discounted payment processing merchant fees for select nonprofits. In order to take advantage of those discounted fees you will need to apply for nonprofit status directly with the merchant, Stripe or PayPal.
Using Stripe or PayPal with your Ticketstripe account enables you to accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no contracts. Stripe deposits ticket proceeds into your bank account within two days of every ticket purchase. PayPal deposits ticket proceeds into your PayPal account within minutes of every ticket purchase.
