How Can We Help?

Item Report

The Item Report helps organizers view tickets and donations across all events and analyze sales at the item level. It is the best report to use when your question starts with a specific item rather than an order.

Tip: Once your report is set up the way you want it, be sure to save it. You’ll then be able to quickly access it from your Reports Overview page, and the data will refresh automatically each time you load it.

What This Report Is Best For

Use the Item Report when you want to:

  • Compare best-selling items, like tickets, ticket bundles, and donations
  • Review quantity and revenue by item
  • Measure discount activity at the item level
  • See how refunds affected specific items
  • Compare item performance across events
  • Compare item performance by sales channel within an event

If you need buyer-level detail, use the Order Report. If you need broader rollups across events, channels, or payment methods, use the Sales Summary Report.

Key Settings

These settings help you customize the report to answer different questions.

Order Date

Choose the date range for the orders you want included in the report. For a more exact reporting window, select Custom and enter both the date and time.

Group By

This controls how the report is organized.

  • Item — Shows an item-level summary across the selected date range. This is the best starting point when you want to see which items performed best overall.
  • Event → Item — Shows item performance within each event. Use this to compare results from one event to another.
  • Event → Channel → Item — Shows the most detailed breakdown. Use this when you want to compare how the same item performed across online and box office sales within an event.

Filter by Event

Use this to narrow the report to specific events instead of viewing results across all events.

Edit Columns

Use Edit Columns to add or remove the columns shown on your report.

Export

After generating the report, use Export to download a CSV of the current view for sharing or further analysis.

How to Run the Item Report

  1. Go to Reports and select Item Report.
  2. Choose your Order Date range.
  3. Choose a Group By option to view the data however you want.
  4. Use Filter by Event to limit the report to selected events.
  5. Click Generate Report.
  6. Use Edit Columns to show or hide additional fields.
  7. Export the report if needed.
  8. Save the report once it is set up the way you want it.

Price Ranges

The Price column may show a range instead of a single amount when the same item was sold at different prices.

This can happen when:

  • Early-bird and regular pricing were both used
  • Pay-what-you-wish tickets and donations do not have a set price
  • The same item was sold at multiple price points
  • You want to spot pricing variation without opening individual orders

TAX NOTE: The Item Report does not include tax as a standard item-level metric. Because tax is handled at the order level, the Order Report or Sales Summary Report may be a better fit if you need tax totals.
