Add custom terms and conditions
Customize your event registration by adding specific terms, conditions, refund policies, and waivers that attendees must agree to before completing their purchase.
- Log in to your TicketStripe dashboard
- Navigate to the Event → Order Form → Terms & Conditions
By default, TicketStripe displays:
- TicketStripe’s Terms of Service
- TicketStripe’s Privacy Policy
- Standard refund policy: “All sales are final. No refunds unless the event is canceled.”
Add Your Custom Terms
In the Terms & Conditions box, you can enter:
- Custom refund policy – This will replace the default refund policy
- Event-specific terms and conditions
- Liability waivers
- Age restrictions or requirements
- Health and safety protocols
- Photography/recording policies
- Any other event-specific requirements
Important Notes
- Attendees must check a box agreeing to all terms to complete registration
- TicketStripe does not enforce refund policies on your behalf – any refunds or exceptions are at your discretion as the organizer
- Your custom terms appear on the checkout page above TicketStripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links
Preview Your Terms
To preview how your custom terms appear to attendees:
- View your event page
- Add a ticket to cart
- Proceed to checkout
- Review how your custom terms and conditions display
- Make any necessary adjustments in your dashboard
Best Practices
- Keep language clear and concise
- Use bullet points or numbered lists for multiple conditions
- Bold important policies like no-refund clauses
- For events with inherent risks (sports, outdoor activities), consider having legal counsel review your waiver language
- Save a copy of your terms for your records
