Email Templates: Guiding Bundle Buyers

When you sell ticket bundles for tables, sponsors, or groups, and make ticket claiming “required”, your buyers need clear instructions on how to claim tickets and share them with guests. These email templates can help you communicate the process effectively, ensuring smooth ticket distribution and data collection from all attendees. Choose the appropriate template based on whether you have SMS sharing enabled for your event and customize it for your audiences.

Email Sharing Only with Claiming Required:

Subject Line: [Name of Event: How to Claim and Share Tickets]

[Name of event] Attendees,

Thank you for purchasing tickets to our upcoming event! Each ticket in your package must be claimed either by you or your guest, and we’ve made it easy:

  • Access your TicketStripe Ticket Wallet from your confirmation email
  • Select the ticket you want to claim and enter your information
  • Select the ticket you wish to share and enter your guest’s name and email address

Once claimed, tickets can be accessed from the ticket email, saved to a phone wallet, or printed. Tickets can also be reclaimed and re-shared if someone in your party can’t make it. Each attendee will need their own ticket to be scanned at entry.

Email & SMS Sharing with Claiming Required:

Subject: [Name of Event: How to Claim and Share Tickets]

Dear Attendees,

Thank you for purchasing tickets to our upcoming event! Each ticket in your package must be claimed either by you or your guest, and we’ve made it easy:

  1. Access your TicketStripe Ticket Wallet from your confirmation email
  2. Select the ticket you want to claim and enter your information
  3. Select the ticket you wish to share and choose your preferred sharing method

Email Sharing:

  • Click “Email” and select from your address book of previous recipients
  • Or type your guest’s name to search and auto-fill their information

SMS/Text Sharing:

  • Click “SMS” and enter YOUR mobile number (not your guest’s)
  • Enter your guest’s first name
  • Forward the text you receive from TicketStripe to your guest
  • Send a follow-up text to your guest so they don’t think the message is spam:
    “Mark, I just sent you a ticket for the CCA event on August 23. Click the link to claim it. I hope you can come!”

Once claimed, tickets can be accessed from the ticket email, saved to a phone wallet, or printed. Each attendee will need their own ticket to be scanned at the door for entry.
