Claim-Your-Ticket options

Claim-Your-Ticket in Ticket Bundles helps you collect attendee information from everyone attending your event—not just the person who bought the tickets. This is especially important for table tickets, sponsor packages, and group purchases, where one buyer purchases a ticket bundle for different guests.

Key Insight: Making ticket claiming required helps organizers collect an average of 95% of attendee information before the event.

All tickets come with scannable QR codes, and buyers are encouraged (not required) to share their tickets with guests.

Select this option if you are bundling tickets for a single person (i.e., Multi-Day) or do not need to collect 100% of attendee data.

How it works:

• Watch the video
• Buyer purchases a ticket bundle, entering only their information at checkout.
• Buyer receives an email with a link to access and share tickets via their TicketStripe wallet.
• The recipient of a shared ticket can save the ticket to use without claiming it. In this case, the buyer’s information will appear on the ticket.
• To claim the ticket, the recipient must enter their information.
• Once claimed, the ticket will display the recipient’s information.

This option helps the organizer collect 100% of attendee data as tickets only display QR codes after attendees claim them and provide their information. 

How it works:

• Buyer purchases a ticket bundle, entering only their information at checkout.
• Buyer receives an email with a link to access and share tickets via their TicketStripe wallet.
• Recipients of shared tickets must enter their information to claim their ticket.
• Once claimed, the ticket will display the recipient’s information and have a scannable QR code.

Unclaimed Tickets:

Remind buyers to share tickets with their guests at least one week before the event. Have this QR code ready at check-in for any last-minute claiming: https://ticketstripe.com/claim

• Unclaimed tickets will display instructions for claiming the ticket:
  • Where to claim: https://ticketstripe.com/claim
  • A unique claim code: i.e., 42028-72032
  • Important: No barcode is displayed. This ticket cannot be scanned at the event until it is claimed.

Note:

• Changing the Claiming Setting will affect purchased tickets that have not yet been claimed or printed.
• Tickets can be reclaimed and re-shared if someone can’t attend.
